Instructions.nfo:
Assumes: Running Windows XP Pro (Volume License Key) on an x86 compatible s
ystem, installed with an illegitimate key.
Potential problems: May require antivirus to be turned off when running the scri
pt files as antivirus programs usually block these.
Warning: Run this before installing SP2 as installing SP2 may prevent you from r
unning this afterwards.
1. Virus scan this package.
2. Run "KeyGen.exe."
3. Set 'Product Family' to "Windows XP Pro. VLK".
4. Change 'From' from "0" to "500".
5. Change 'To' from "999999" to "6&#
48;0".
6. Click 'Generate'.
7. Select/Copy entire key, including hyphens.
8a. If you are currently running Service Pack 1 or Service Pack 1a, run
"sp1 Key Changer.vbs".
8b. If you are not currently running any Service Packs, run "sp0 Key Cha
nger.vbs".
9. Confirm your service pack status.
10. Paste the key into the text box when prompted so and click
'OK'.
11. Click 'OK'.
12. Restart the computer.
13. Install Service Pack 2 as per the instructions provided by Microsoft.
